Telangana..a train wreck situation...

Any creation of Telangana will create a major ethnic conflict among the Telugu speaking people. The river is upstream, and if Hyderabad is also a part of Telangana, the rest of Andhra will have nothing much. Think of the annual begging that Tamil Nadu has to do to get a few drops of water from a dam that is 60 kms away from it's border. Just like Karnataka, the new Telangana will have newly formed agricultural areas and the water will go there instead of those other Telugu people downstream. Why would they spend money maintaining a dam for the other ethnic group?

Creation of states just based on ethnic considerations should be heavily discouraged. Dams and the land it serves should be part of the same state.

Dear friend,
I appreciate you for being brave enough to bring the core nature of this whole samaikhyandra issue to the fron. I would rather say you are first of your kind I came across who boldly accept the true intentions and necessities. I think you agree that telangana lands were kept dry only for the sake of Andhra land holders.
But your fears though nor irrational or illogical are worth enough to be negotiated.
Why do you think Telangana people would like to see andhra people go thirsty. We would only be using our share of water and your share will be duly saved for you. When you can believe in Karantaka and Maharashtra, why would we telugu people have become an archvillians for you?
Look things are changing and you have to accept certain things like after telangana formation there would be issues raised on this but things can be settled with bilateral dialogue and indeed we all are closer to each other more than any other states. we chare a lot of common things and we have bonded with each other through marriages for decades.
SO be optimistic. Be happy that your long suppressed brothers have at last about to have their wishes fulfilled.

There should be some solution faster to be taken by politicians to bring the situations to normal conditions, other wise it is going to stop progress in andhra pradesh.

Day wage laborers havent worked for a single day in the past one month. They dont want biryani or burgers..they just want to feed themselves and their kids..and are waiting for a day when they can merely work…and we, who have everything are really worried about whose movies are breaking records. Have we become so callous, so cold that it does not bother us at all any more?

I will tell you whats breaking a record. A guy who sells vegetables near dilshuknagar, had to take 300 rupees, from a microfinance company, because his cart was pushed aside and broken, by agitators. And the record is..since he couldnt repay the 300 in 2 weeks, he has to come up with 500 in the next 2 weeks…isnt that a record? Oh yeah..all this while we are busy discussing Dhukudu and Oosaravelli
